We drove south from Bodrum for about 3 hours before reaching the bay surrounding Fethiye . Besides being a beautiful city, this is home to a group of Lycian Rock Tombs carved into the cliffs, dating from the 4th century BCE. Another 15 minutes down the road, and we arrived in a gorgeous beach town called Oludeniz, where a Swim in the Aegean awaited us. People flock to this area for the resort atmosphere, and dozens of Paragliders descended as we watched the sunset.
